Suzanne D. Anderson
Author-Publisher-Book Coach
Suzanne discovered her writing ability when she attended college as a mature student. She joined the college newspaper as a reporter and spent two years as the editor. She self-published her first book, a military history, in 1997. At the time, she discovered there was little information on how
to self-publish in Canada and decided to remedy that by writing Self Publishing in Canada: A complete guide to designing, printing and selling your book, which is based on both personal experience and extensive research.
Suzanne stays on top of current publishing issues so that her readers can benefit from the information as they make their way through the self-publishing maze. Her credentials include:
Eight years as a freelance writer
Six years as editor of HMCS Quadra alumni newsletter
Five years as a regular contributor to a self-publishing co-op newsletter
Publishing courses at Simon Fraser University
